Description Prepares a chronological detailed timeline at the Legal department's request Develops and organizes material that helps legal draw these conclusions Researches case-related factual issues using various systems (Salesforce; MBS etc:) Conducts research, investigates facts and develops legal arguments Organizes and archives the documents related to completed and ongoing cases Keeps track of changes within the consumer file and provides timely updates on these changes Performs In-take of all Threat to Sue and Subpoena related matters Reviews and forwards information to litigation team in a timely manner Processes Annual Claims Sweep on Consumer Center matters at Legal’s request for existing or any new consumer contacts Reviews prior Threat to Sue cases to provide updated interaction Provides list of regulatory complaints received from the CFPB, Attorney General, and Better Business Bureau Processes consumer disputes; suppressions; and or corrections at Legal's request. Generates consumer report and check report for accuracy Other duties as assigned Additional Skills & Qualifications -3+ Years of Paralegal or Legal Assistant experience (Preferably within insurance or bankruptcy litigation) -3+ Years of Customer Service Experience in any setting -Experience working closely with attorneys -Strong attention to detail (needed to be able to compile various information to assist in building a case with information from many documents) -Strong research skills needed Experience Level Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
