Description We are looking for a highly experienced Paralegal to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia, on a Contract-to-Permanent basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on significant cases within a dynamic legal environment. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in personal injury law and trial preparation, as well as proficiency in case management software. Responsibilities: • Manage personal injury cases from inception to resolution, ensuring all deadlines and requirements are met. • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials. • Coordinate trial preparation activities, including organizing exhibits, preparing witnesses, and assisting attorneys during trial. • Utilize case management software effectively to track case progress and maintain accurate records. • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to support case strategies. • Communicate with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders to provide updates and gather necessary information. • Assist in the discovery process, including compiling and organizing evidence and responding to discovery requests. • Ensure compliance with legal procedures and court rules throughout the case lifecycle. • Schedule and manage appointments, court appearances, and deadlines. • Support attorneys in handling larger and more complex cases as they arise. Requirements • 7-10 years of experience as a Paralegal, with a strong focus on personal injury law. • Familiarity with trial preparation and procedures; trial experience is highly desirable. • Proficiency in using case management software, particularly Backdocket. • Exceptional organizational and time management skills to handle multiple cases simultaneously. • Strong written and verbal communication skills for drafting legal documents and interacting with clients. • Ability to work onsite during standard business hours (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM). • Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment. • A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving and teamwork.
