Job Description
Insight Global's client is a well established, boutique law firm specializing in workers' compensation and labor law. We are seeking a Paralegal to fill in for someone on medical leave but potentially extend or convert permanent.
Court Filing & Document Management: File via eCourts, PACER; manage medical records, claim petitions, and interrogatories.
Scheduling: Coordinate IMEs, Permanency Exams, and Department of Labor calendar events; diary pre-trial motions and conferences.
Communication: Answer office calls professionally; join firm-wide calls 3x/week to share updates.
Case Prep: Assist with judge markings, trial notices, subpoenas, and municipal court materials (e.g., police reports, body cam footage).
Software Proficiency: Microsoft Office 11, Adobe, ShareFile; Time Matters or PC Law experience preferred.
Administrative Support: Draft and revise correspondence; maintain organized filing systems (digital and physical).

Skills and Requirements
- 3-5+ years of experience
- Background in workers' compensation/civil litigation
- Strong experience in efiling
- Experienced working with the department of labor and know how to schedule IME (Individual Medical Exams) and Permanency Exams as well as track scheduling, adjournments, etc. - Defense experience null
