Description We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our team on a contract basis in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This role involves supporting civil litigation processes, including discovery and trial preparation, while ensuring efficient case management. Responsibilities: • Assist attorneys in managing civil litigation cases, including discovery processes and trial preparation. • Organize and maintain case files using case management software to ensure accuracy and accessibility. • Conduct legal research and gather documentation to support litigation efforts. • Prepare and draft legal documents, including motions, briefs, and correspondence. • Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in litigation to facilitate case progress. • Support attorneys during trials, including managing exhibits and other trial-related materials. • Maintain compliance with legal standards and procedures throughout case handling. • Collaborate with legal teams to streamline processes and improve workflow efficiency. • Ensure timely submission of legal filings and adherence to court deadlines. Requirements • Proven experience as a paralegal in civil litigation. • Proficiency in discovery processes and trial preparation. • Strong knowledge of case management software and its practical applications. • Familiarity with legal documentation and filing procedures. • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented legal environment. • Knowledge of plaintiff-side litigation is preferred.
