Description Our client Law Firm looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Paralegal with expertise in intellectual property law to join their team in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will provide essential support to attorneys by managing legal filings, maintaining intellectual property portfolios, and ensuring compliance with U.S. and international regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with a strong background in patent, trademark, and copyright law. Responsibilities: • Prepare and file patent, copyright, and trademark applications for both U.S. and international jurisdictions. • Manage communications and filings with foreign counsel for international intellectual property matters. • Maintain and track deadlines using IP docketing systems to ensure timely filings, renewals, and responses. • Conduct preliminary searches and assist with trademark screening and clearance reviews. • Audit and manage intellectual property portfolios to ensure compliance with relevant rules and regulations. • Draft and review legal documents, including correspondence, reports, and agreements. • Assist attorneys with litigation or enforcement activities related to intellectual property. • Perform ownership, lien, assignment, and security interest searches for IP assets in connection with legal filings. • Support the preparation and review of IP-related agreements, such as licensing and assignments. • Provide general administrative support to attorneys, including organizing and finalizing client correspondence If this position is speaking out to YOU, email your resume directly to rosemarie.jonesroberthalf.< com > Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal specializing in intellectual property law. • Strong knowledge of patent, trademark, and copyright filing procedures for U.S. and international jurisdictions. • Proficiency in managing IP docketing systems and tracking deadlines. • Experience conducting preliminary trademark searches and portfolio audits. • Excellent drafting and communication skills for legal correspondence and reports. • Familiarity with IP-related agreements, including NDAs, licensing, and assignments. • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. • Strong organizational skills and ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys and foreign counsel.
