Description We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to support our litigation team in Houston, Texas. This role involves assisting attorneys throughout all stages of the litigation process, ensuring smooth case management and compliance with legal procedures. Responsibilities: • Prepare and draft case-related documents, including pleadings, memoranda, and discovery responses. • Conduct thorough legal research and investigations to support case development. • Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date. • Provide administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling and coordinating meetings. • Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and other stakeholders. • Assist in preparing presentations and trial materials, such as PowerPoint slides. • Facilitate discovery processes by gathering and reviewing relevant information. • Manage document filing and ensure compliance with court procedures. • Collaborate with attorneys to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Requirements • Proven experience as a Litigation Paralegal or in a similar legal support role. • Certification or an Associate's Degree in Paralegal Studies is preferred. • Familiarity with legal terminology, court systems, and procedures. • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management software. • Demonstrated ability to manage documentation and organize case files effectively. • Excellent research and analytical skills to support legal strategies. • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work efficiently under pressure.
