Description Robert Half is partnering with a local law firm in the Greater Seattle Area to identify a Litigation Paralegal who is ready to IMMEDIATELY jump in to assist and possibly join their team. This position is contract with potential for extension/conversion into a permanent role. Location: Greater Seattle Area Pay Rate: $30-35 per hour Duration: 3+ month contract, potential for contract to hire! Schedule: M-F, 8am-5pm, On-site Responsibilities: + Provide direct support on a variety of defense litigation cases, ensuring all phases of casework are handled efficiently. + Manage a backlog of litigation cases, ensuring timely review and resolution. + Conduct thorough document reviews to support case preparation. + Coordinate and schedule depositions, maintaining accurate records and timelines. + Prepare materials for depositions, trials, and other legal proceedings. + Draft and edit legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and subpoenas. + Audit case files to ensure compliance with legal standards and best practices. + Communicate with clients and stakeholders to provide updates and address inquiries. Requirements + 3+ YOE as a Paralegal in Washington + Proven experience in Defense Litigation (A HUGE PLUS for Personal Injury-related cases). The salary range for this position is $30-35/hr.
