In this role, you will provide critical litigation support to attorneys, specializing in employment law and contract disputes. Responsibilities: • Support attorneys in litigation processes related to employment law and contract disputes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. • Prepare and file legal documents in state and federal courts, adhering to all procedural requirements. • Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and provide informed recommendations. • Assist with document processing and organization during the discovery phase of litigation. • Attend depositions alongside attorneys, ensuring seamless coordination and documentation. • Draft precise correspondence, pleadings, and other legal materials as required. • Manage case calendars and deadlines, maintaining meticulous attention to detail. • Provide trial preparation support, including organizing exhibits and coordinating logistics. • Utilize case management software to track progress and maintain organized records. Requirements • Proven experience as a paralegal, particularly in litigation and employment law. • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook365, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat. • Familiarity with e-filing systems and strong knowledge of filing procedures in state and federal courts. • Skilled in legal research and drafting pleadings with precision. • Experience managing discovery processes and trial preparation. • Knowledge of case management software and calendar management tools. • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. • Preferred experience with Net Documents, WestLaw, and Trial Director.
