Description We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our team on a contract basis in LaGrange, Georgia. In this role, you will provide critical support to a manufacturing company, focusing on post-acquisition due diligence and contract management tasks. This position offers a hybrid work environment, with flexibility for remote work depending on circumstances. Responsibilities: • Conduct thorough reviews of existing contracts to ensure accuracy and proper naming conventions. • Update vendor agreements, cleaning contracts, and other simple contracts as needed. • Assist with the consolidation of corporate entities, ensuring legal compliance and accuracy. • Organize and maintain documentation within shared drives for easy access and reference. • Collaborate directly with leadership to finalize and clean up legal documents. • Provide support in managing post-acquisition due diligence processes. • Ensure all corporate records and contracts are properly aligned with current business structures. • Handle tasks promptly and efficiently, meeting deadlines as assigned. • Work closely with external legal counsel to address any complex legal matters. Requirements • Proven experience in contract review and management. • Familiarity with post-acquisition due diligence processes. • Strong understanding of corporate entities and their legal requirements. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Proficiency in managing shared drives and document organization. • Strong communication skills to liaise with leadership and external counsel.
