Description We are looking for a highly skilled Paralegal to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. This role involves providing expert assistance on trading agreements, including ISDA Master Agreements, MSTAs, Listed Option Agreements, MRAs, and GMRAs. As part of the financial services industry, this is a long-term contract position offering the opportunity to work on complex derivative transactions within a dynamic legal environment. Responsibilities: • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of trading agreements, including ISDA Master Agreements, MSTAs, Listed Option Agreements, MRAs, and GMRAs. • Conduct thorough legal research on derivative instruments and their applicable regulations. • Collaborate with internal teams to manage documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards. • Provide support for discovery processes, civil litigation, and trial preparation. • Utilize case management software to organize and maintain accurate records of legal proceedings. • Assist in analyzing derivative transactions and their legal implications. • Stay updated on changes in rules and regulations governing trading derivatives. • Coordinate with external counsel and stakeholders to address complex legal issues. • Develop and implement strategies for resolving disputes related to trading agreements. • Ensure timely execution of agreements and adherence to deadlines. Requirements • Proven experience in drafting and negotiating trading agreements, including ISDA Master Agreements and MSTAs. • Strong understanding of derivative instruments and regulations governing trading derivatives. • Expertise in discovery, civil litigation, and trial preparation. • Proficiency with case management software and legal research tools. • Familiarity with financial services industry practices and legal standards. • Excellent analytical skills to assess derivative transactions and associated risks. • Strong communication skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
