The Special Projects Department is seeking a Temple Facilities Assistant to be based at the Port Moresby, PNG Temple. This is a permanent full-time position reporting to the Temple Facilities Manager. This is an opportunity to be part of a professional organization where your skills and passions can contribute to the mission of the Church – inviting all to come unto Christ.

As a Temple Facilities Assistant, you will greatly assist temple patrons to enjoy being within the House of the Lord by maintaining the Temple, ancillary buildings and the overall site to standards established by the First Presidency.  This includes assisting in the operation, repair and maintenance of mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment as well as the care of fixtures, fittings, carpets, tiles and all other physical components.  Duties may also include cleaning, custodial services, care of grounds and other work assigned by the Temple Facilities Manager.
