2–4 years of experience in a network security or firewall administration role. Hands-on experience with: Palo Alto Networks Next-Gen Firewalls (NGFW) Fortinet FortiGate Firewalls Experience in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) or Security Operations Center (SOC) environment preferred. Strong command of TCP/IP, routing (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), switching, branch/Data Center architectures. Experienced with IPSEC/SSL VPN, PKI, Scripting (C/Python), and lab-based packet-processing. Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, NAT, IPSec, SSL). Ability to interpret firewall logs and correlate with network activity. Experience with Palo Alto Networks products is highly desirable Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills; able to engage technical and non-technical audiences
