In the heart of all the action, the coveted community of Cabo Del Sol is home to our modern hacienda-style village, with sparkling ocean views throughout. The Clubhouse is perched above the resort with sweeping Ocean views, and it is being designed as THE place to host spectacular weddings and events for up to 250 people. The role of the Restaurant Chef
The Restaurant Chef is responsible for planning, organizing, controlling and directing the work of employees in the Kitchen Department responsible for food preparation while ensuring superior quality and consistency.
Knowledge and Skills
Culinary School Graduate.
Minimum 3 years management experience in Kitchen operations.
Proven track record in luxury dining environments, with a strong foundation in fine dining Italian-French cuisine
A European nationality or significant professional experience in Europe is required.
Proficiency in both English and Spanish, including reading, writing, and oral communication
Solid knowledge of Food and Beverage service operations.
Have strong skills in kitchen administration and organization.
Strong communication, leadership and training skills.
The ability to train, lead, motivate and coach all employees in the Kitchen’s food production area to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met; long-range strategic planning for outlet operation.
The ability to assist in the planning and development of menus and recipes, ensure the correct preparation and presentation of a consistent level for all food items prepared through production and demonstration, utilize creative menu planning to minimizing waste.
The ability to ensure that HACCP sanitation standards as set forth by Four Seasons and federal regulations are in compliance as well as the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
The ability to control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory control.
The ability to ensure the correct preparation and presentation of a consistent level for all food items prepared through production and demonstration.
Flexibility to work on different shifts, weekends, and holidays.
You are actively involved in identifying and assessing the needs of your team and investing in their career development through effective coaching, training, and by instilling company our values.

Essential Functions
Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees in the Kitchen’s food production area to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met.
Assist in the planning and development of recipes, and ensure the correct preparation and presentation of a consistent level for all food items prepared through production and demonstration.
Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory control.
Ensure that sanitation standards as set forth by Four Seasons, local, state, and federal regulations are in compliance as well as the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
Maintain control systems which will assure quality and portion consistency, monitor food shipments to ensure they meet established purchasing specifications as well and foster an awareness of the importance of food preparation and quality.
Communicate with employees and managers to ensure operational needs are met as well as attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments.
