Palliative Coordinator RN
**Responsibilities** Responsible for the coordination of the Palliative Care Program. Initially is a consultative role developing into a comprehensive program providing services to include consultation, outpatient clinic, research, education, Hospice, and palliative care. This person must: possess strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills; be respectful of patient/family goals, preferences and choices; be knowledgeable and capable of utilizing interdisciplinary resources; and be knowledgeable of complementary therapies and pain management **Qualifications** **Required Education and Experience** + Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing. **Required Licensure and Certifications** + Current RN license in the State of Kentucky + Basic Life Support (BLS) via the American Heart Association (AHA) + Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) via the American Heart Association (AHA) within 3 months of hire **PREFERRED Qualifications** + 2 years RN experience + Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) **Overview** Welcome to Saint Joseph Hospital, a 433-bed hospital founded in 1877 by the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth as the first Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.
