The Painter / Bond Primer is responsible for efficiently processing parts through the line in preparation for lay-up and other duties as assigned.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Painting / Bond Prime
Assist in bond priming applications Apply different types of bond prime depending on specifications of the part Rack parts for chemical processing Rack & identify bond prime surface Cleans and prepares aircraft part surfaces prior to painting Sprays specified amount or thickness of primers/bond primers on parts Mix and thin paints to specified color and consistency in accordance to standard formulas
General
Actively support and participate in continuous improvement activities, team meetings, and holding him/herself accountable for sustaining improvements. Perform regular 6S cleaning in all used areas Other duties as assigned
