Job Description
Join our team as a Painter, where you will perform a variety of duties to support our painting operations. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing and painting water tanks and truck parts, utilizing techniques such as blasting, prepping, caulking, interior coating, and exterior painting. You will be expected to stay current with new painting, prepping, and blasting procedures, complete work according to directions or set schedules, and maintain a clean and safe shop environment.
ResponsibilitiesPrepare and paint water tanks and truck parts using various techniques such as blasting, prepping, caulking, interior coating, and exterior painting.Stay updated on new painting, prepping, and blasting procedures.Complete work according to directions or set schedules.Maintain a clean and orderly shop and equipment.Coordinate specific work tasks with other personnel within the department and across other departments to ensure smooth and efficient service.Participate in and support adherence to internal policies, procedures, and practices for risk management and safety.Report pertinent information to the immediate supervisor as requested or according to an established schedule.Respond to inquiries related to your area within given time frames and established policy.Essential SkillsExperience in painting, assembly, paint prep, and industrial painting.Familiarity with HVLP/Pressure Pot spray systems.Ability to apply seam sealer and decals.Knowledge of air/hand tools and basic understanding of blasting techniques.Proficiency in using spray guns, sanding, air tools, and blasting equipment.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to work at heights and inside confined spaces.Capability to wear respiratory protection.Reliable transportation.Commitment to adhere to laws and organizational policies promoting a harassment-free workplace.Why Work Here?

Work in diverse conditions, including cold winters and hot summers, while assembling mechanic trucks, water trucks, tanks, and vac trucks.

This is a Contract position based out of Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
