As the primary spray painter on-site, you will be responsible for painting Emerson Wangara products to meet the required paint specifications and other standards. You will also train others as needed and help document techniques and practices to enhance the overall competency of spray painting at the site.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Prepare Valves and Components for Spray Painting Apply paint using both airless and conventional spray systems to meet specifications provided in work instructions or special instruction documents. Inspect, measure, and test completed work for finish, film thickness, and coverage (holidays) to ensure required standards are met. Continually improve painting techniques and practices to enhance the quality and consistency of paint coatings for our products. Clean and maintain all spray painting, air extraction, safety, and other equipment, while maintaining high standards of general housekeeping. Ensure safe storage and handling of all paint, thinner, and cleaning products in accordance with established procedures. Maintain a tidy and clean work area, including daily cleaning of equipment, workspaces, and shared areas. Keep all shared facilities clean; clean up after your own work and ensure these areas are left tidy. Ensure the quality of our products by following applicable Quality Assurance procedures and work instructions, and completing required forms (e.g., Quality Plans). Train others in painting techniques and practices as needed. Ensure safe work practices in accordance with the Company Safety Program.Who You Are

For This Role, You Will Need:
Experience in the Field of Industrial Spray Painting** Forklift certificate Proficient in both conventional and airless spray systems Application of two-pack paints Ability to troubleshoot spray painting issues while maintaining high standards of finish and consistent film thickness Experience with paint thickness testing and various testing methods/equipment Operation of overhead cranes and associated accessories Experienced in the use of hand and power toolsOur Culture & Commitment to You
