Paint Launch Lead
As the Paint Launch Lead, you will be tasked to deliver the new product through the launch milestones. You will spent time laying out the complete plan prior to any physical builds (utilize LQOS). You will then confirm your plan at the production plant and address any uncovered concerns alongside your counterparts in – Stamping, Body Construction, and Final Assembly. You will be the lead responsible for developing the process aid tooling, supporting all quality validations (appearance, color harmony, water leak performance, air leak performance, road noise performance), develop all process sheets, achieve production within released labor targets, launch at full acceleration, and summarize all close out deliverables with lessons learned.

High school Diploma or GED 3+ months of production experience with preferred automation manufacturing background (internship/Co-op/coursework included) Capable of working in plant production manufacturing environment. Capable of travel within North America as the assignment requires.Even better, you may have...

What you'll do...
Feasibility Development and/or Program Launch for newvehicles in support of SQDCME objectives. Support minor launch and current production programs. Design and Develop Paint Tooling for new vehicles. Provide paint expertise to other Subsystems including Product Development, Assembly Plants and Paint Forward
Model. Perform Assembly Plant Health Assessments with
resolution follow up including monitoring QOS/Control Plan
items. Utilize DMAIC work methods to improve cost/quality of
vehicle lines. Work with Assembly Plants to improve cost/quality. Manage GSPAS processes and all MCR/CR actions. Implement robust designs per Paint SDS/MDS and
Lessons Learned.
