Key Responsibilities

GCN Paid Search Lead

Manage and optimize all Baidu/Sogou/360 campaigns to achieve performance targets and business objectivesDevelop and implement comprehensive paid search strategies for the Greater China marketOversee all invoicing & PO management for Baidu/Sogou/360 to ensure smooth financial operationsSupport analytics alignment for all paid search channels in the regionLead cross-functional collaboration with regional teams to ensure localized campaign effectivenessRun quarterly performance reviews to evaluate regional strategy based on local market trends and KPIsCoordinate with global paid search teams to ensure alignment with worldwide strategy while adapting to local requirementsDrive lead generation testing efforts across Chinese search platformsManage budget allocation and establish performance benchmarks for regional platforms

Technical & Strategic Support

Provide expertise on China-specific search platforms and their unique requirementsOversee feed management for regional search engines ensuring all data is accurate and properly categorizedMaintain relationships with local platform representatives and evaluate partnerships annuallySupport analytics implementation for accurate measurement in the Chinese digital ecosystemExecute supplier campaigns in the Greater China region and support their optimizationStay current on Chinese regulatory changes and platform policies affecting paid search marketingCollaborate with the global paid search team to share regional insights and best practicesDevelop bilingual campaign assets optimized for local platform requirementsAnalyze competitive landscape in the Greater China market to identify opportunities and threats

What We Are Looking For:

5+ years experience in digital marketing with specific focus on Chinese paid search platformsFluency in both Mandarin Chinese and English (written and verbal)Demonstrated experience managing successful Baidu, Sogou, and 360 paid search campaignsIn-depth understanding of the Greater China digital landscape and search engine ecosystemStrong analytical skills with ability to extract insights from complex data setsExperience managing marketing budgets effectively in the Chinese marketKnowledge of current paid search best practices and trends specific to Greater ChinaExcellent communication skills for cross-functional and cross-cultural collaborationStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple prioritiesWorking knowledge of SEO principles for Chinese search enginesUnderstanding of Chinese consumer behavior and cultural contextPrevious experience working with global teams and international brandsExperience working in a matrix organization across multiple APAC markets

Preferred Qualifications:

Baidu, Sogou, and 360 platform certificationsExperience with Chinese marketing automation platforms and CRM integrationExperience with WeChat and other Chinese digital marketing channels
