\nJob Summary
\nHybrid position - will travel to each assigned clinic on a Quarterly basis (minimum)
\nThe PACS/RIS Administrator manages daily operations and improves work processes in Diagnostic Imaging. They handle applications supporting Diagnostic Imaging operations.
\nEssential Functions of the Role
\n\nDemonstrates basic level knowledge of concepts, standards, procedures and equipment.\nResponsible for day-to-day operations and integrity of Imaging based applications & devices including image workflow, equipment and other related activities.\nWorks closely with Imaging personnel to ensure complete DICOM data capture into PACS. Also ensures network transmission, RIS validation, and exceptions handling in all necessary applications promptly.\nProvides system administration support to departmental managers. Generates statistical reports on utilization, compliance, and other metrics.\nPerforms, as needed, charge capture reconciliation, requesting new procedure codes and ensuring correct charges are applied to accounts.\nImplements and conducts user training programs.\nProvides technical and problem-resolution support. Offers first-line application support to all end users. Diagnoses system hardware, software, network, and user faults.\nServes as a liaison between users, vendors and IT.\nEnsures system efficiency and security.\nProvides after-hours, weekend, holiday, and on-call support on a rotational basis to multiple facilities or as needed.\n\nKey Success Factors
\n\nThorough knowledge of the radiology department processes is required.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nProficient with Microsoft applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.\nAvailability outside normal business hours. Able to take call, if required.\nAble to perform tasks autonomously without need for routine oversight.\nAble to provide services timely, accurately, and cost-efficiently in compliance with system standards, policies and procedures.\nAble to serve as preceptor by providing quality training to new team members and on new services and initiatives.\nKnowledge of EPIC Radiant, Visage PACS, Nuance PowerScribe, TeraRecon, PenRad and other imaging applications.\n Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography (ARRT-R)\nLicensed by State of TX Medical Board (TMB) as Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT)\n\nBelonging Statement

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION - H.S. Diploma/GED EquivalentEXPERIENCE - 3 Years of Experience
