Your responsibilities will include:• Comprehensive oversight of all packing and shipping activities across our two manufacturing plants, Balvanera and Kaizen.• Management and optimization of the complete logistics flow, encompassing everything from the import of critical raw materials to the export of finished products globally.• Strategic alignment of logistics operations with Siemens' productivity, quality, safety, and regulatory compliance objectives.Key Responsibilities:• Lead, motivate, and develop high-performing operational and administrative teams.• Ensure full compliance with international foreign trade regulations, including INCOTERMS, customs regulations, and specific certifications (e.g., C-TPAT, AEO).• Foster cross-functional collaboration with key departments such as Production, Quality, Procurement, Customs,Order Management, and Sales to ensure a smooth and integrated logistics operation.• Establish, monitor, and manage critical logistics KPIs, such as logistics costs, on-time delivery (OTD), inventory accuracy, service levels, and shipping efficiency.• Identify and implement technological solutions and logistics automation projects to improve productivity and traceability.• Manage relationships with logistics service providers (3PLs, carriers, customs brokers) to ensure competitive rates and excellent service.Proven Proficiency in:• Foreign trade, customs operations, and import/export documentation.• Drive high safety standards for all yard operations, ensuring safe work environment.• Plan and manage yard capacity and trailer pool for designated site.Requirements:• +5 years of progressive experience in logistics, packing, and shipping management roles within high-volume manufacturing environments (preferably in the automotive, aerospace, electronics, or automation industry).• Situational leadership, analytical and strategic thinking, complex problem-solving ability, advanced negotiation skills with suppliers, and excellent interpersonal communication.• English: Advanced, capable of stablish a fluid conversation.Siemens is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer encouraging diversity in the workplace.
