**Job Description**
**Job Responsibilities**
+ Works on basic to routine assignments following established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Master Batch Records, and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
+ Reports to Team Lead on a regular basis on line performance, and reports any issues that need to be resolved.
+ Works on packaging inspection of Gilead products, Clinical Trial Material, and components.
+ Sets up and operates Packaging line equipment including
+ Primary & Secondary Packaging Lines (Solid Oral Dose & Sterile)
+ Primary & Secondary Packaging Lines (Blister)
+ Works to ensure optimal batch yield
+ Prepares cleaning solutions and cleans manufacturing areas, including walls, ceilings, floors, and equipment.
+ Complies with all safety-related procedures and practices personally and in area.
+ Performs basic ERP/MES transactions.
+ Receives well-defined instructions on new assignments.
+ Reports variance or deviation from standard procedures to department management.
+ Takes variant action only with approval of department management
+ Supports safety reporting , walkdowns & implementation of safety initiatives
+ Implement compliance improvements to improve Right First Time (RTF) & reduce process deviations
+ Implement OE & process improvements to improve line efficiency (OEE) & optimize change over times
**Key Differentiating Contributions**
+ This is a semi-experienced position requiring working or specialized knowledge of **Primary & Secondary** packaging systems, methods and procedures.
+ Assignments range from routine to basic where analysis of situation or data requires a review of simple and fairly identifiable factors.
+ Works on assignments that are routine in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required.
+ Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
+ Responsibilities require specific knowledge and application of principles.
+ Trained on more than 1 Packaging Line, or 10 Training Roles.
+ May participate in cross-functional teams.
+ Time in position does not automatically qualify an employee for promotion.
+ Demonstrates proficiency in assigned tasks.
+ Demonstrates an ability to acquire broader, relevant knowledge.
+ Demonstrates progress towards becoming a subject matter expert.
+ Demonstrates an ability to effectively communicate and contribute as part of a team.

**Typical Education & Experience**
Certificate to FETAC level 6 (GSL) or several years of relevant experience
