Job Summary:

DuPont’s Healthcare Industries Material Site (HIMS) is seeking a Packaging Technician in Hemlock, MI!

This position is in the front line of packaging finished goods to prepare for shipment. Our team is looking for a top caliber, technically capable operator who is focused on safety, embrace change, make informed decisions, possess self-confidence and leadership skills and are lifelong learners.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

​Package products for various customers using various packaging materials.Complete electronic documentation for the orders you are packaging.Safely transport goods via forklift throughout the plant.Perform daily tasks using the appropriate computer tools and software.Follow procedures and practices to ensure a safe and efficient operation.

Education & Experience:

Required:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.1 or more years of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, shipping, receiving, military, or related role.Basic computer skills.Willing and able to work a 12 hour rotating shift, including weekends, holidays and overtime when needed.Willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs.Willing and able to stand/sit for extended periods of time.Willing and able to complete work that involves repetitive motion and/or repetitive lifting.Perceive, identify, and respond to plant and site alarms.
