Your Role:
To stage, fill, cap, label, and over pack liquid, powder, and lyophilized products per approved packaging specifications and according to safety and quality protocols.
Job Functions:
Shift: 3rd (Sunday–Thursday, 10:30 PM–7:00 AM); initial training on 1st or 2nd shift.Set up, operate, and clean semi-automated and automated filling, capping, and labeling equipment.Perform manual and aseptic filling of liquids and powders, including hazardous materials in controlled environments.Accurately document packaging activities per FDA, ISO, and GMP requirements and deliver products to inventory.Use pumps, filters, and electronic balances to process, weigh, and transfer bulk materials.Maintain a clean and safe work environment; follow all quality, safety, and PPE protocols.Participate in equipment troubleshooting, process improvements, and required safety trainings.Collaborate with team members, assist in training, and contribute to 6S and audit-readiness efforts.
Physical Attributes:
Wear PPE such as hard hats, safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hair nets, beard covers (if applicable), Tyvek suits, shoe covers, and respirator. Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted & move more than 50 pounds with assistance. Work area may occasionally be wet, humid, abnormally hot, or cold. Sit, stand, walk, reach above the shoulder, stoop, kneel, twist, or crouch for the entire shift. Use close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth vision, and adjust focus. Work with and in proximity of hazardous chemicals and human source materials.
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED1+ year experience in packaging, warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, processing, or customer service environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Fill, cap, and label chemical products3+ months of experience in ISO/GMP regulated environment3+ months of chemical packaging, manufacturing, or scientific/laboratory experienceAbility to do basic math-including metrics and conversionsKnowledge of safety rules, GMP, SOP’s, UOP’sMechanical skills with ability to use pumps, electronic balances, and material handling equipmentTroubleshoot automated packaging equipmentStrong written and oral communication skills and problem-solving skillsAbility to train others and work in a team settingExperience with hand tools
