Your Role:

In this role you will manually and semi-automatically portion chemicals into containers using safety equipment and following protocols.

 Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Ensure all equipment, tools, and facilities are kept in a safe and clean environment. Maintain detailed records following Good Documentation Principles (GDP) for accountability and traceability.Safely process, portion, formulate, and condition hazardous and and non-hazardous chemicals into containers, ensuring consistency and adherence to specifications.Assemble, disassemble, set up, operate, and troubleshoot various dispensing and weighing equipment, including replacing worn parts and conducting calibrations.Inventory and Material Management: Monitor and restock all material storage areas, perform regular inventory checks, and follow up on any shortages. Move materials within the department as needed.Compare chemical characteristics to expected values, conduct quality assurance (QA) tests, and pull samples for customers or quality control as required.Accurately label and overpack bottles of both hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals for transportation and inspect for and document any damaged labels.Adhere to all quality, safety, and operational training procedures, immediately reporting any situations that could compromise safety or quality. Dispose of chemical residues and cleaning materials according to UOP and SDS guidelines.Update mainframe and SAP systems as required. Participate in committees and testing to improve departmental, site, or company performance, focusing on areas like safety, quality, inventory, and cost.

 

Physical Attributes:

Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as respirator, gloves, goggles, steel toe shoes, chemical resistant suit, masks.Lift, push, and/or pull up to 50 lbs.

 

Who You Are:

 

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

1+ years of work experience in a GMP manufacturing, laboratory, warehouse, or packaging role.Experience with SAP.Experience documenting based on Good Documentation Principles (GDP).
