Your Role:

 

Weigh hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals using precision equipment into specified containersVerify functioning of room ventilation and safety equipment, obtain process order, scan into computer system, verify electronic balance is calibratedVerify bulk container numbers, batch, and material numbers against those called for on the process order and complete all required paperwork and documentationAssemble, disassemble semiautomatic powder or liquid dispensing equipment and replace worn or disposable parts as necessaryClean tools, utensils, and semi-automatic dispensing equipment according to manufacturer recommendations and chemical safety protocols. Set up, operate, and troubleshoot all automated equipmentLabel and overpack filled units for shipping in compliance with shipping regulationsActively participate in a proactive safety culture; identify hazards, make suggestions for improvement and working incident free

 

Physical Attributes:
 

Occasionally works near moving mechanical partsWear appropriate protective gear (hard hats, glasses/goggles, chemical resistant suits, gloves, safety shoes) and other personal protection equipment “PPE”The work area may occasionally be wet, humid, or abnormally hot or coldOccasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted

 

Who You Are:

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 High School Diploma or GED 

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Chemistry work experienceManufacturing or Industrial experienceExperience operating pallet and drum movers
