What will your role be?

As the Packaging Line Coordinator on the Afternoon Shift (2 PM–10 PM, Monday to Friday), you’ll take charge of production during your shift. You'll be responsible for leading a team of operators, managing safety and quality, optimising output, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement at our Huntingwood site.

This is a dynamic, hands-on leadership role with a focus on performance, standards, and people.

What does the role look like for you?

Lead the afternoon shift team to meet production targets (OTIFNE – On Time, In Full, No Errors)

Manage line changeovers, operate and maintain packaging equipment safely and efficiently

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards (HACCP, ISO)

Coach and develop team members to support multi-skilling and capability uplift

Drive continuous improvement through structured problem-solving and process enhancements

Support materials planning and usage to reduce waste and ensure availability

Maintain accurate data entry and process tracking using SAP

Engage in daily Tier meetings and embed world-class manufacturing practices (EISC/MMS, TRACC, 5S)

What you’ll bring:

3+ years’ experience in a leadership role within FMCG or manufacturing

Forklift licence essential

Strong mechanical aptitude and operational troubleshooting skills

High attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality

HSC or relevant technical/trade qualifications; Diploma or tertiary education desirable

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic SAP functionality

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
