GKN Hungary is looking for a **Packaging Engineer** , who will be responsible to manage and implement a material packaging strategy for the plant. + Implementing the GKN standard for packaging and working towards a common approach + Developing an understanding of packaging needs and in designing ideas and prototypes + Delivering local solutions with a view to reduce cost, complexity and safety and environmental issues + Preparation of reports, statements and calculations + Participate in new projects + Cooperate with other departments within organization + Managing the transport to/from customers + Daily meetings interdepartmental + Daily handling with ERP system “QAD” + Creating packaging flows with customers / suppliers + Creating packing instructions for external and internal customers/suppliers + Optimization of existing packaging solutions + Managing the packaging inventory **Requirements:** + Master/Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, preferably in the field of logistics + Minimum 2 years of planning production and material management experience in Industrial or Automotive environment + Confident English knowledge (fluent Hungarian language skill is a must) + Works at an intermediate level to perform computer-aided design (CAD). + Driving license + Effective computer skills to improve daily work + Knowledge of packaging standards in the automotive industry + Good cooperative, organizing and communication skills, process approach, independence and ability to coordinate + Open to travel (business trips) **What we offer:** + Market leading company with lots of potential + Opportunity to take part in brand new company projects + Attractive salary and benefits at a stable and financially healthy company + An organization where you can commit to the long-term + Wide scale of responsibilities + Career advancement opportunity NOTE: **Please submit your resume in English** because we are an international environment and English is our business language.
