Eli Lilly Italia is looking for a Packaging & Device Engineer for Sesto Fiorentino Site. Reporting to the TSMS Packaging, Device & Logistics Sr. Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for managing process-related issues, supporting improvement activities, and investigating non-conformities related to the process.

Key Responsibilities:Ensure the effectiveness of the control strategy through knowledge of the production process and equipment operation logic.Interface with Process Teams and Technical Teams regarding technical issues within their area of expertise.Actively investigate quality or performance losses in the field and provide support for resolution.Support the analysis of equipment and product performance data (Control Charts) to identify issues or areas for improvement.Provide feedback to upstream process phases regarding any issues identified during production.Investigate events in collaboration with network partners and suppliers when necessary.Interface with the Lilly Network to ensure alignment.Investigate manufacturing changes impacting the process within the Packaging & Device area.Support the development and updating of Site Process Flow Documents and Risk Assessment documents (pFMEA).Conduct technical studies to investigate non-conformities and/or identify operational improvements.Collaborate in drafting operating procedures impacting the control strategy and operations.Assist in writing equipment qualification and process validation protocols.Participate in defining C&Q strategies for complex projects.

Requirements:Master’s Degree in EngineeringGood knowledge of English and ability to interact with colleagues from other network sites1-2 years of experience in packaging environment. This could include packaging development, packaging specifications, asset delivery/Commissioning & Qualification processes, product/package stability, and packaging components.Attention to detail and strong troubleshooting skillsBasic knowledge of statisticsTeamwork skills and collaborative mindsetProficiency in IT systems

This position requires working on-site, and includes 4 days of remote work per month.
