Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking for a Packaging Design Innovation Engineer located in Łódź, Poland.
What a typical day looks like:
Designing and developing new packaging concepts for selected clientsVerification of packaging specifications from customers (including technical drawings of the packaging, material, finishing, varnish specifications, etc.)Verification of the delivered materials and proposing design solutions in the field of packaging based on the analysis of customer needs and technological possibilitiesProposing changes to improve production processesPresentation of innovative solutions, improvements to existing and new projectsSupervision over co-development processes with suppliers in consultation with the purchasing and engineering departmentTechnical support for the purchasing, engineering department and the customer as a subject matter expertParticipation in all stages of the new project implementationThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:
Bachelor/Master degree in the relevant field (such as Papermaking and Printing or Mechanical Engineering)Demonstrated prior experience in industries such as Packaging Design, Offset/Flexo printingA sound technical basis, technical understanding and experience with CAD tools (especially SolidWorks)Experience mainly with Box Design and Paper material properties (experience in working with Plastics and Pulps as well)Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and PolishA good knowledge of Excel, Power Point and a talent for communicating and presenting concepts to other peopleExperience in systems design engineeringProficient user of MS Office, MS Project as well as 3D CAD softwareCreative, team player, innovative mind mixed with analytical thinking and attention to detailsWhat you’ll receive for the great work you provide:
