Your Role:

 

As a packaging coordinator, you will help to plan, organize, and coordinate packaging activities to efficiently package a quality product within a safe working environment and meet departmental goals. 

 

Job Functions:

 

Support the safety, quality, and timely delivery of various products through Ewing Packaging. Stage process orders, bulk materials, and components to optimize packaging operator efficiency. Perform SAP process order confirmations and ensure accurate inventory adjustments. Review packaging documentation for errors, escalating and resolving issues as needed. Assist packaging operators with troubleshooting and collaborate with other departments to resolve issues. Redline documents and initiate workflows to maintain accurate and up-to-date manufacturing procedures. Contribute to root cause analyses and non-conformance reports. Coordinate daily Tier 1 Gemba discussions, track action items, and prepare daily schedules based on priorities. 

Physical Attributes:

 

Lift up to 50 lbs. individually.

 

Who You Are

 Minimum Qualifications:

 

High School Diploma or GED.

 Preferred Qualifications:

 

Prior experience in chemical weighing, related laboratory, filling or packaging.Any college courses in chemistry or other science.Prior experience in ISO/GMP regulated environment.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Good attention to detail.Knowledge of product flow throughout the packaging process.Proven ability to lead peers.Strong computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office and SAP.Understanding of quality requirements including ISO 13485 and ISO 9001.Solid grasp of safety requirements in a packaging/manufacturing environment.Highly adaptable to change.Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.Good planning and organizational skills.Operation of material handling equipment.Basic math skills.Ability to work well in a team setting.
