**_Position Summary_** The **Senior Specialist, Learning Development and Delivery** is responsible for facilitating both instructor-led training (ILT) and virtual instructor-led training (vILT), evaluating courses, and managing training delivery and administration processes to align business objectives with learning-related strategies and solutions. + Demonstrates knowledge of adult learning theories and best practices + Demonstrates knowledge and effective use of presentation/facilitation tools, techniques, materials, etc. + Ability to lead virtual and in-person training sessions + Possesses knowledge of and experience in using training system technologies and classroom tools + Adapts classroom management/teaching techniques 'on the fly' to a wide variety of classroom situations + Uses effective questioning and probing skills to adapt and modify delivery + Provides feedback to class participants and business leaders + Provides feedback on course design and content to Learning Business Partners (LBP) and/or Instructional Design & Development (IDD) team **_Accountabilities_** + Facilitate training courses across the academy in alignment with strategic business needs. + Partner with Learning Business Partner and Instructional Design and Development HUB resources to execute business initiatives and ensure accurate content is available for and delivered in training courses. + Leverage Learning Technology strategy to support the business, reinforce training and close employee’s performance gaps + Participate in strategic learning projects that align with Business initiative + Provide Attendance, Training Plans, Training Reports and other insights from training courses **_Qualifications_** + Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred + 2+ years’ experience in related field preferred + Strong knowledge of adult learning theories and best practices preferred + Experience with virtual delivery applications such as Zoom and MS Teams + Experience in working in business systems such as RGH, OIT and ICON, preferred + Strong understanding of at-Home Solutions Edgepark products, processes and functions, preferred + Strong oral, written, interpersonal and presentation skills + Strong work ethic **_What is expected of you and others at this level_** + Applies working knowledge in the application of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks + Works on projects of moderate scope and complexity + Identifies possible solutions to a variety of technical problems and takes actions to resolve + Applies critical thinking and judgment within defined parameters + Performs assigned work successfully with general guidance, may receive more detailed instruction on new projects as determined + Open to feedback and coaching as it relates to work performance + Accountable and able to provide feedback to participants and/or leaders on classroom concerns + Work reviewed for sound reasoning and accuracy _Candidates who are back-to-work, people with disabilities, without a college degree, and Veterans are encouraged to apply._ _Cardinal Health supports an inclusive workplace that values diversity of thought, experience and background.
