P/T Specialist 1, Junior Designer - Temporary
(Note: This is a paid internship w/no benefits: $25 per hour; Length: Approx. 12-14 weeks, Sept.-Dec.)
Position Summary:
This role's main responsibility is to oversee and develop the design layout and visual impact of marketing materials, products and publications, along with updating and maintaining website content. Duties include designing a wide range of printed and digital materials that follow brand guidelines, collaborating with other functions to help with any creative needs, and keeping the website up to date with the support of other college functions. This role will work closely with the communications function in keeping the college on brand and on message.
Role and Responsibilities:
+ Designing all marketing collateral material for the college
+ Collaborating with multiple teams on creating a wide range of other creative projects.
+ Collaborating with all relevant functions to keep website content up to date.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
+ Bachelor's Degree, emphasis in art, graphic design, web design, photography, marketing, communications.
+ Minimum of 1 year experience as a graphic designer or creative in an agency or marketing function.
+ Minimum of 1 year experience using a web content management system (WordPress preferred).
+ Proficiency in the following programs: Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva.
