The role | Your area of impact
You will collaborate with managers and P&C partners to develop innovative compensation solutions and reward programmes in Germany by implementing the strategic direction of the P&C Reward and Recognition (PR&R) chapter.
As an expert on global and local compensation market trends you will work closely with the P&C Business Partner to ensure that all employees are paid fairly and competitively. You will lead continuous improvement projects and develop programs that value and motivate our employees while ensuring that all global guidelines are followed.

Responsibility | What you can expectAs a Compensation Reward Specialist (m/f/d), you are an expert in compensation and responsible for staying up-to-date on global and local compensation trends. You have a comprehensive understanding of all company compensation programs, processes, and practices. Specifically, you will assume the following responsibilities:
Strategic Compensation Expertise: You will drive innovative compensation solutions for Germany that align with global and local regulations, ensuring competitive and compliant reward strategies in partnership with other Reward Analysts in our chapter (e.g. base pay budgeting, off-cycle increases, variable pay, stock options benchmarking, …)
Trusted Advisor: You will provide expert guidance and collaborate with business and P&C leaders on a wide range of complex compensation-related topics, fostering a deep understanding of reward practices.
Broad Perspective: You will collaborate effectively with global and local teams actively supporting the communication of our rewards programs as part of our Employee Value proposition, including upskilling and education for People Leaders on Reward topics
Shaping the Future of Rewards: You will actively contribute to the strategic vision and continuous improvement of the compensation function, driving innovation and best practices through project participation
Qualification | Your profileYour experience based on your successful bachelors or master degree lead to a solid understanding of global reward policies and procedures and being familiar with local/legal reward practices and requirements in the EMEA region and especially the German market.
You combine strong analytical skills with critical thinking and are proficient in tools such as Excel, Access and Smartsheet. You have the ability to translate data into clear narratives and insights.
You are a strong communicator and skilled in setting priorities. You apply an agile mindset and demonstrate customer centricity in your day-to-day interactions – including anticipation of needs, cultural awareness and conscious response management.
You bring a solution-oriented approach to problem solving and process improvement, including active listening, critical thinking and a growth mindset. You are open to feedback, willing to experiment, and constantly seeking new learning opportunities.
You live customer centricity through your day-to-day interactions (incl. needs anticipation, cultural awareness, managing one’s response)
You speak fluent English and German and have excellent communication skills as well as a solution-oriented conflict/problem management and negotiation skills.
You are able to work effectively with various stakeholders and communicate complex issues as well as transform data into insight in an understandable way.
