POSTING DATE: **September 4, 2025** POSTING CLOSE: **September 8, 2025, at 16:00** LOCATION: **SECURITAS MOBILE, 8341-160th St, Unit 200, Surrey, BC** POSITION: **Overnight Full-Time Mobile Security Guard** *****SCHEDULE - Friday - Sunday & Alternate Thursdays 21:00 - 09:00***** *** Must be available for all shifts** *** Must have excellent computer skills** *** Must have excellent customer service skills** *** Must have excellent communication skills** *** Must have a valid Class 5 driver's license** *** Must have a clean Driver's Abstract** **Pay rate: $21.08** **Primary responsibilities, but not limited to:** + Provides mobile guarding services to project a security presence, which includes operating a vehicle to perform patrol, inspection, and/or incident response services; maintains radio or other communications contact with the office or base to report status or incidents, or to request additional assistance or response. + Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property, its assets, and personnel + Makes periodic patrols to check for irregularities and to inspect protection devices and fire control equipment. + Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site about personnel, visitors, and premises. + Controls access to the client site or facility through the admittance process. + Patrols assigned site on foot or in vehicle; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons. + Satisfy client needs by providing excellent customer service while minimizing risk to the client's property and assets. + Monitors intrusion detection systems using automated alarm and video monitoring software. + Ability to use computer systems + Protects evidence or the scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations. + Responds to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents. + Use of communication systems to report and inform. + Prepares logs and reports as required **Requirements:** * Working knowledge of security operations and procedures * Knowledge of Mobile security operations and procedures * Knowledge of handling different alarm systems * Current and valid Security License * Must have a Class 5 Driver's License for the Province of British Columbia * Must have a clean driver's abstract * Must be able to safely operate a vehicle * Must be able to patrol for long hours * Must have excellent communication skills * Excellent organizational skills * Strong customer service skills * Professional and team player * Ability to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports * Must pass experience validation * Must pass practical driving evaluation Securitas employees come from all walks of life, bringing with them a variety of distinctive skills and perspectives.
