Location:
The position will work from a home office in the field anywhere West of the Mississippi near a major airport.
Compensation:
The compensation will be consist of base salary PLUS uncapped commissions. The incumbent will inherit an existing customer base in the Western Region that will enable them to start earning commissions right away.
Opportunity Summary:
We are excited to be partnering with a 100+ year old growing OEM in their search for a Fully Remote Outside Sales person to handle the Western Region of the U.S.. The position will work from a home office in the field anywhere West of the Mississippi near a major airport. Our client is a leader in the design, application and installation of sensing switches to prove, measure, and control air and gas flow. Their products are applied worldwide in commercial, industrial, and residential HVAC applications, boiler and burner control, and process monitoring applications. All of their products are designed and manufactured in the United States, and they have been named “supplier of the year” to internationally known HVAC manufacturers on numerous occasions.
Job Duties:
Identify and target potential clients through research, networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
Conduct in-person meetings and product demonstrations with prospects and existing customers.
Understand customer needs and customize product solutions to meet those needs.
Present and explain product features, benefits, and pricing options effectively.
Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
Provide ongoing support and follow-up to address customer questions or concerns.
Build and manage a robust sales pipeline and consistently meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals.
Regularly report on sales activities, progress, and results to sales management.
Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and market shifts to identify new opportunities.
Provide feedback to marketing and product teams regarding customer preferences and competitor activities.
Collaborate with Customer Service and Marketing to ensure smooth order processing and customer satisfaction.
Attend regular sales meetings and make on-site visits as required by the Director of Sales.
Requirements:
Proven experience in outside sales in the Manufacturing industry.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong negotiation abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Strong customer service orientation and critical thinking skills.
Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to travel regularly and manage a regional sales territory.
Confident in cold outreach and driven by measurable outcomes.
