Inside Sales Representative-Horticulture

Job Description
An employer is looking to add an Inside Sales Representative to their team in St. Louis, MO. This person will be responsible for selling our client's products and services. They will be responsible for assisting the sales team with order processing, customer inquiries, and follow-ups. They will work to ensure timely and accurate entry of orders into the system and address customer questions and concerns via phone and email, providing product information, pricing, and availability. They will collaborate with various departments (e.g., logistics, procurement, and finance) to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. They will maintain and update sales records, customer accounts, and generate sales reports. They will assist in identifying and resolving issues related to orders, deliveries, and customer satisfaction.
They will be responsible for cold calling prospects, with a goal of 20-30 calls per day. They will be responsible for conducting outbound calls to current clients to upsell or maintain existing business. It will be their job to identify decision makers within their list of leads to being the sales process. They will set up and deliver sales presentations and product/service demonstrations. They will assist in creating RFQ and RFP responses to potential customers, as needed. They will handle inbound prospect/customer calls and work to convert them into sales. They be responsible for entering new customer data and updating it in their CRM.

Skills and Requirements
Experience working in an inside sales environment
Experience working in the horticulture or lawn/garden industry
Experience cold calling prospective clients
Strong communication skills, with the ability to speak with new/existing clients about products and services
Ability to work with multiple sales/ordering systems to enter client information and track orders Experience working with SAP
Experience working with an order management system null
