Outreach Services Director - National

**Job Description:**
This position is responsible for all aspects of Intermountain Healthcare's regional outreach services in markets outside of Utah. Leads effective coordination with system strategies, resources, and regional outreach teams. Leads regional outreach and growth opportunities for Intermountain Healthcare, specifically as it pertains to attracting and retaining patients from new and developing markets. This position also coordinates with the Teleservices efforts to strengthen and enhance relationships between facilities and providers. Ensures that policies, procedures, activities, and strategies are consistent with and coordinated with those of Intermountain Health.

**Scope**
This is a system-wide leadership role, providing strategic direction and operational oversight for a regional outreach effort to positively impact external customer relationships. This position reports to the Executive Director of Network Development and Outreach Services.
**Job Essentials**
Promotes the mission, vision and values of Intermountain Healthcare.
Identifies and supports community outreach and marketing that may enhance development of new business opportunities outside of our current region.
Participates in the development of health care services, specific promotions, advertising, marketing and communications, as applicable.
Understands the needs of outreach partners and finds Intermountain solutions that provide value to both entities.
Collaborates with communications teams on promotional materials that will help market services to regions outside of our current service areas.
Develops marketing strategies for services, and trains regional outreach teams on those strategies.
Effectively coordinates system outreach efforts with regional outreach teams to create a seamless outreach approach across all of Intermountain.
Responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating the quality of services provided by regional outreach processes including quality, service, access, and customer satisfaction.
Displays original thinking and creativity; meets challenges with resourcefulness; generates suggestions for improving work; develops innovative approaches and ideas; presents ideas and information in an effective manner.
May manage a small staff focused on regional referral trends, referring physician feedback, contracting, and coordinated outreach master plans.
**Minimum Qualifications**
Bachelor's degree, plus five years of management experience in a hospital or healthcare environment, or five years of experience in program development, sales, and marketing

Master's degree from an accredited institution. Education is verified.

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills and attention to detail

Demonstrated expertise in project planning and leading teams

Demonstrated experience in process improvement

Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills, both verbal and written

Ability to facilitate interdisciplinary teams and to develop effective relationship with individuals from a variety of backgrounds

Ability to work independently

Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks
**Preferred Qualifications**
Experience building and implementing hospital concierge services

Experience in leading change and working broadly throughout a healthcare organization with administration, hospital and medical staff

Project Management experience in a hospital or healthcare setting
- and -
Experience in an integrated healthcare delivery system
- and -
Experience in sales
- and -
Experience in marketing and brand enhancement
- and -
Experience in strategic planning
- and -
Experience in outreach service development and delivery
This is an exempt, full-time position. Pay offers are determined by prior years of relevant experience within the established pay range. In addition to the annual salary, to show our commitment to you and assist with your transition,, we may offer a sign-on and relocation bonus when applicable. With this position, you are eligible to participate in the Annual Pay for Performance (AP4P) Plan. This plan enables Intermountain Health to provide leaders with an additional performance compensation opportunity. The AP4P award opportunities are calculated as a percentage of your base salary. Awards are paid out based on attainment of selected Board-approved goals.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$67.41 - $104.06
