**Job Summary**

This position is perfect for someone who loves working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to support children and families in a busy clinic setting. You’ll receive on-the-job training and develop skills in medical systems like EPIC , patient interaction, scheduling, and more—all while working with a fun, supportive team that makes a real impact every day.
You’ll primarily serve patients at our Salt Lake and Lehi locations, with occasional coverage in Layton and Provo as needed. Best of all—no weekends required!
**Responsibilities**
What You’ll Be Doing:
+ Participate in on-the-job learning across a variety of topics within pediatric orthopedics—including diagnoses, procedures, and workflows—so you can grow your knowledge and confidence over time
+ Work collaboratively with team members across all departments—we rely on and learn from each other every day
+ Use EPIC to schedule appointments, complete registration, check patients in/out, and manage work queues
+ Triage patient phone calls and referrals (paper and electronic) to ensure patients are scheduled in the correct clinics
+ Collect co-pays and assist with prior authorizations for procedures
+ Deliver excellent customer service to patients and families, both in person and over the phone
+ Apply newly learned clinical knowledge to your daily tasks in a fast-paced environment where every day brings something new
+ Keep things moving efficiently while staying kind, organized, and detail-oriented
**Minimum Qualifications**
* One year of office experience, customer
service experience, or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience).
* Current, valid Utah driver’s license at
time of hire may be required in some
areas.
This position is patient-sensitive and must fulfill all associated requirements.
