Responsibilities

Responsible for the delivery of excellence in patient care through assessing, formulating nursing diagnoses and establishing goals, planning and implementing intervention and evaluating patient care outcomes. With the staff nurse's professional practice he/she Responsible for participating in and maintaining quality, cost effectiveness and guest relations.   Provide patient care in compliance with hospital policies and procedures and the standards of professional nursing practice as defined by the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Education Level

Associates Degree in Nursing for all transfers and new hires

Licensure/Certification

Texas Registered Nurse License BLS ACLS PALS within 6 months of hire

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Effective CommunicationKnowledge of the principles and skills needed for practical nursing to provide patient care and treatment. Critical thinking skillsDemonstrates excellent interpersonal skills both written and verbalBasic Computer skills – familiarity with Windows based software programs

$20,000 SIGN ON BONUS for FULL TIME positions for RN candidates with over 1 year of experience.  This is paid out in one lump sum in the paycheck after you’ve been employed by us for 30 days (contingent on meeting the requirements.)

Located just off Highway 59 south, the 66-bed hospital in Livingston provides more than 60,000 patient services each year, with half of those services being offered in the Level 4 Trauma-Designated Emergency Department. Services offered include, Orthopedic care, Women’s Services, and a state-of-the-art Sleep Center. Imaging services include MRI, CT scan, nuclear medicine scans, 4D Ultrasound, cardiac echocardiograms, fluoroscopy, bone density scanning and 3D mammography.
