Sinai Hospital, a regional medical campus for George Washington School of Medicine and Health Sciences (GWSMHS), serves the people of greater Baltimore as well as national and international patients. As a nonprofit teaching hospital, Sinai provides training for more than 140 residents and 400 medical students yearly.

Sinai Hospital, an academic medical center, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our GIM team. This is a full-time, outpatient, employed position.

Requirements

Master’s degree and active Nurse Practitioner license (APN, APRN, or NP) Maryland Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS) license Minimum of 1 year of ambulatory care experience preferred, ideally in a primary care setting Strong written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems and electronic medical records

 

The Opportunity

Full-time, hospital-employed, outpatient opportunity with great benefits Schedule: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The practice currently consists of 5 physicians, 3 APPs with Medical Assistants and RNs as part of the support team. You will have the opportunity to manage your diverse patient panel

 

Job Qualifications

Ability to examine, diagnose, and treat or recommend courses of treatment Advise, order, and perform appropriate tests and interpret results Discuss diagnoses with patients, explain treatment options, and provide advice on medications and other preventative measures. Carry out follow-up appointments, monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans and medications, update patient records, and make referrals as needed. Remain up to date on current best practices, developments, trends, research, and technology
