Minimum qualifications: + Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. + 5 years of experience in a technical video system in a technical environment. + 1 year of experience in technical troubleshooting, writing code or technical project management. Preferred qualifications: + 3 years of experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers. + 2 years of experience in solutions engineering, solutions architecture or software architecture. + 2 years of experience with streaming service or in broadcast media digital distribution. + Experience with video streaming back-end platforms such as video transport, video processing, Content Delivery Network (CDN) or client Adaptive Bitrate Streaming (ABR) playback. In this role you will work cross-functionally across YouTube with various technical and business teams. You will be supporting all aspects of over-the-top (OTT) focused on content ingestion and processing, with the goal of building the next iteration of YouTube OTT's ingestion infrastructure. You will have experience in video streaming systems design and support or technical product management within a streaming platform environment. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
