We’re seeking anOperational Technology (OT) Asset Visibilityand Security Engineerto support a program with the US Postal Service. In this role, a typical day will include: Serve as a technical contributor implementing USPS cybersecurity strategies protecting the digital network, connected assets, hosted applications and data, and employees within the Operational Technology (OT) environment supporting critical USPS mail and package handling systems. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED: Education: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, preferred but not required. - NOTE: If resources do not have a relevant college degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required. Required Experience: - Candidates must have strong demonstrated experience in large enterprise OT environment including8+ years of OT security experience.Experience should include application ofasset visibility solutions towards OT hardware and software asset management securityefforts supporting bothOT operationsand security efforts includingnetwork access control, USB attached device control, file integrity monitoring, vulnerability management, and security event investigation support.Candidates must also have accredited and relevant college degree (computer science, information systems, etc) or congruent work experience. - Strong demonstrated experience inlarge enterprise OT environment - Technical knowledge, experience, and certifications with relevant tools such asForescout, Armis Centrix -Splunkuse and knowledge object development -Windows and Linux system administration -Database design and implementation. - Candidates would benefit from having relevant technical certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC, RHCE, CPTE, or CEH) - Strong oral and written communication skills - Ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts - Ability to build & maintain schedules and step-by-step action plans - Strong interpersonal and organizational skills - Ability to positively influence peer organization and key stakeholders. Security Clearance Level: - Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance and successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprinting - This position has a U.S. residency requirement. The USPS security clearance process requires the selected candidate to have resided in the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for the last five years as follows: U.S. Citizens cannot have left the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for longer than 6 months consecutively in the last 3 years (unless they meet certain exceptions).
