Orthotic Fitter - Full-Time
**Req Number** 159930 Orthotic Fitter FlexStaff is seeking an Orthotic Fitter to join our client's team at their Manhattan and Bronx locations. This role will include inventory control and ordering plus assisting patients in being fit with off-the-shelf orthotic devices such as braces, supports, and other orthopedic equipment. Hours: 8:30am-5:30pm 3 days in the Bronx and 2 days in Manhattan Responsibilities: + Assist with fitting and adjusting prefabricated orthotic devices under the supervision of a certified clinician + Educate patients on proper use, care, and wear schedules for orthotic devices + Support clinical staff with patient intake, documentation, and follow-up care + Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient care and fitting areas + Ensure inventory and supplies are adequately stocked and organized + Collaborate with clinicians and administrative staff to ensure high-quality patient care Qualifications: + Orthotic fitting experience highly preferred + High school diploma or equivalent required + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills + Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity + Willingness to learn and work as part of a collaborative team + Ability to lift, carry, and position orthotic equipment and assist patients as needed + Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus but not required *Additional Salary Detail The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
