Job Summary:

Located in Madison, WI, Frank Productions was established in 1964 and is one of the largest concert promotion companies in the United States. Frank Productions, a joint venture partner with Live Nation, offers full-service concert promotion involved in every facet of live entertainment events, including talent buying, production, ticketing, marketing, sponsorships, and special events. We produce and promote events in arenas, performing arts centers, theaters, clubs and other venues across the U.S. We operate offices and venues in Madison, WI, Nashville, TN, Columbia, MO, and Charleston, SC.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL DO
+ Establish and maintain high standards of customer service for staff, customers, and vendors
+ Identify and maximize revenue drivers while optimizing the overall guest and artist experience
+ Responsible for the overall management, communication, and connectivity of venue operations and staff
+ Coordinate day of event activities and matters such as staffing, scheduling, and oversight of artist and VIP activities
+ Collaborate with necessary departments to create innovative offerings that drive incremental revenue growth, fan and partner engagement, and profitability
+ Oversee overhead labor and equipment expenditures, including day to day management of all venue vendors/subcontractors – HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Cleaning, Security, Trash/Recycling
+ Work closely with key civic governmental departments, venue landlord, as well as interaction with the community in general
+ Liaise with appropriate investigative and public safety agencies on matters related to operations, planning, and prevention
+ Coordinate and facilitate event set-up with venue operations crews, including chair-fit
+ Serve as main point of contact with shared services for venue needs to include: Facilities Maintenance, Concessionaire, Special Events, Sponsorship and more
+ Implement security procedures and equipment that ensure guest, employee, artist, and venue safety while meeting department objectives and budgets
+ Coordinate, schedule, and lead front of house and security staff
+ Work with production on advancing and settlement needs
+ Execute operational expenses and show recap in settlement
+ Ensure venue cleaning schedules are followed and venue is presentable
+ Coordinate venue parking needs for tour and vendor access
+ Coordinate sponsorship activations as needed
+ Upkeep and maintenance of surveillance system
+ Excellent working knowledge of Health & Safety protocols in an event venue
+ Responsible for upkeep and oversight on show reports and ROME settlements for assigned venue
+ Maintain a working climate that attracts, retains, and motivates quality personnel
+ Ensure the organization’s mission, values, commitments, goals and culture are upheld and practiced
+ On site for each event prior to load in and until load out
+ All other duties as assigned
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
+ Minimum 5 years’ experience as a general manager or operations manager in a hospitality related business
+ Must have expertise in profitability analysis and budgeting
+ Ability to direct a team with leadership qualities that exemplify respect, integrity, teamwork and quality
+ Willingness to work unconventional hours as job duties demand
+ Ability to handle difficult situations in a professional manner
+ Ability to quickly adapt and adjust projects to new expectations and direction
+ Ability to work independently and solve problems using sound decision-making skills
+ Ability to lead and coordinate projects
+ Willingness to travel, as job duties demand
+ Ability to communicate effectively in a team environment that includes in-person collaboration, group e-mails, and instant messaging

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT
+ Performs duties while standing and walking, including ascending and descending stairs
+ Lifts up to 75 pounds
+ Crouches, kneels, twists, bends, and reaches frequently
+ Occasionally works at heights above ground level
+ Utilizes hands and fingers to operate computers and office equipment
+ Regularly exposed to large crowds and high volumes of noise
+ Occasionally works in outdoor conditions
This position is expected to work forty (40) hours per week or more. This position is an at-will position, meaning that either party may terminate the employment relationship at any time without notice or cause.
