Original Production Coordinator

Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025. The Production Coordinator serves as a key partner to the Production Manager by providing creative, operational, and administrative support. The Production Coordinator will take on production responsibilities such as coordinating original production project workflow – project approval, development, pre-production, production, post-production, promotional material, clearance, master delivery phases of all project -, documents, assets, and budgets. The Coordinator will also assist the Production Manager with the feedback and approvals of all production project assets, providing creative inputs and actionable solutions to problems, in addition to front-line communication with each production company, NBCU departments and outside vendor. The Production Coordinator should maintain up to date the productions reports of the department and the NBCU IMDB account. Responsibilities: + Coordinate the original production projects workflow – project submission and approval, development, pre-production, production, post-production, promotional material, clearance, master delivery of all projects. + Coordinate and organize the NBCU compulsory trainings for all production companies and maintain the training report up to dated. + Organize the production meetings with the production companies and NBCU executives, Marketing, On Air and Ad Sales team, assisting the Production Manager on preparing the meetings’ agenda and writing down the meeting summary.   + Attending to shootings on field to evaluate production companies’ performance & resources. + Assisting on organizing all documents, information and assets related to the projects. + Check documents and assets to ensure they are in accordance with NBCU and/ or Production Manager requirements. + Work closely with the Production Manager to ensure all requests from Marketing, Ad Sales and Creative departments are being complied. + Maintaing On air, marketing, Ad Sales and Legal department up to date on the production workflows and relevant information of the projects. + Assist on the revision and feedback of the competition shows Manuals, scripts and offline cuts of all shows. + Keep up to date the production reports and the NBCU IMDB DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS: + Possesses high attention to detail + General knowledge of entertainment, pop culture, fashion and movies + Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment & work with tight deadlines + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + Ability to work independently under general supervision QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS: + Undergraduate University degree + 2 - 3 years of experience in television/film production + Knowledge and experience in television promotion, advertising creative or other related experience. + Strong communication, organizational and administrative skills are essential + Candidate must have the ability to take direction from more than one individual, ability to work independently and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines + Knowledge of normal office software such as Word for Windows, Excel, and other software essential to job function + Knowledge of storytelling + Knowledge of editing is very useful + Must be able to work well in a team environment and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners on all aspects of creative + Must be bilingual English/Portuguese.
