Organizational Change Management Consultant Intern (4 month term - Toronto, Montreal or Ottawa)

It is mandatory that all applicants are enrolled in full-time studies at a post-secondary institution and returning to full-time studies upon completion of the work-term. * Participate on a consulting project or initiative and experience first-hand how we help transform their business * Assist in the development of Change Management and HR Strategy deliverables with a focus on helping clients transform their organization to achieve target benefits * Work collaboratively to deliver innovative solutions for clients * Learn about a client’s industry, tackle new challenges, and learn about how their business and technology intersect. * Join our IBM North America intern community and meet other IBMers during networking events, special team events and career development activities including in-office attendance At IBM, we prioritize ongoing learning, development of technical and core skills, and investing in your personal growth, all grounded in a culture of coaching and mentorship - you’ll get exposure to all that and more as an intern. Work you could do as an Organizational Change Management Intern: Collaborate on all aspects of organizational change management through the design and development of key deliverables and workshops for both Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, SuccessFactors, UKG, Adobe, and Salesforce, etc.) and non-ERP projects. * Support design and delivery of workshops, meetings, and stakeholder interviews * Develop / track change impacts and mitigating actions * Support design and delivery of work products including assessments and surveys * Develop communications tailored to specific audiences including written and video assets * Work in Agile, collaborative environments * Use IBM’s Design Thinking to help solve client’s challenges * Conduct research and analyze data to support conclusions and strategies * Utilize AI tools, assets and assistants to conduct research and develop work products * Support Organizational Change Management and Training Design activities for Cloud migration and ERP implementation or upgrades Candidates considered for a Quebec position must be fluent in French. For candidates located in Ottawa, Government of Canada Reliability Clearance is a requirement for this role. In order to be eligible for Government of Canada Reliability Clearance, you: * Must be either a Canadian Citizen or Canadian Permanent Resident * Must have resided in Canada for a minimum of 5 consecutive years * Must have a clean criminal and credit history **Required technical and professional expertise** * Can understand client´s needs and challenges and apply creative and logical approach to identify solutions * Demonstrate quantitative analysis skills and ability to derive recommendations informed by data and insights * Can work on multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines, while maintaining focus in an environment with conflicting demands * Ability to communicate complex situations clearly and simply by listening actively and conveying difficult messages in a positive manner * Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate and work effectively with individuals, strengthening relationships to achieve win-win solutions * Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of tools * Ability to obtain Canadian federal government security **Preferred technical and professional experience** Familiar with the fundamentals of organizational change management A passion for innovative ideas, coupled with the ability to understand and assimilate different points of view Demonstrate leadership experience and ability to adapt, with willingness to readily take ownership of tasks and problems Have initiative to actively seek new knowledge and improve skills IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
