About the Role
The Organisational Development Specialist role is critical to delivering high-impact learning and development initiatives aligned with organisational priorities. The position supports the design and facilitation of leadership and professional development programs, team-building workshops, and strategic communications to drive engagement with learning. It also ensures the integration of evaluation frameworks to measure impact and continuously improve learning experiences. Replacing this role is essential to maintain momentum in capability development, support organisational culture initiatives, and meet the growing demand for learner-centric, future-focused development solutions across WMQL
Key Role Accountabilities:
Facilitate engaging, inclusive and impactful learning experiences with a focus on psychological safety and practical application to support growth.Design and implement communications strategies to advertise the learning catalogue and drive engagement with learning opportunities.Develop and deliver learner-centric leadership and professional development programs tailored to organisational priorities and capability need, including but not limited to employee performance cycle, finance & business operations, risk and governance.Design, develop and facilitate workshops to build team dynamics, create a shared understanding of Team Purpose and foster high-performing teams as requested.Utilise instructional design principles and blended learning methodologies to create effective and engaging face to face/virtual and digital learning experiences.Partner with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to co-create learning solutions that are contextually relevant and future focused.Respond to learning related queries and provide advice to various stakeholders across the organisation.Create and embed robust evaluation and impact measurement mechanisms into all learning initiatives, ensuring data-driven enhancements to content and delivery.Analyse evaluation and impact data and feedback to continuously improve future learning design and learner experience.Lead end-to-end OD&L projects including timelines, stakeholder engagement, delivery logistics, communications, and evaluation.About You
Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.Demonstrated capability in e-Learning design, including use of articulate 365 and video editing tools.Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, including experience in collaborating with subject-matter experts to design training content (HR, WH&S, governance, finance, etc), and drafting communications to engage employees in learning.Significant experience in facilitation of workshops, including demonstrated ability to tailor delivery to suit diverse range of audiences and learning styles.Experience in facilitating leadership development programs, professional development initiatives and team building workshops.Experience in working with and implementing evaluation frameworks and impact measurement mechanisms to assess the effectiveness of learning and leadership development initiatives is desirable.Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to plan, coordinate, and deliver multiple learning and development initiatives within scope, timeframesDesirable:
Experience in not-for-profit or similar industry, including understanding of aged care and disability services industries.Formal qualifications in training, adult education or learning design.What makes a difference for us:
