Job Description

The Order Picker is responsible for accurately retrieving stock items to fulfill customer orders and transporting them to the shipping desk for final packing. This position plays a key role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

This is a first shift position, working Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional overtime as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Retrieve goods from warehouse shelves based on customer orders.Verify item accuracy against the packing list and inspect items for quality.Transport completed orders to the shipping area and update the internal order tracking system.Operate an order-picker truck and other warehouse equipment when necessary.Adhere strictly to warehouse safety procedures and protocols.Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or warehouse management.

Work Experience
Ability to safely operate material handling equipment including hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, and order-picker trucks.Strong reading comprehension and communication skills.Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in order fulfillment.
