Your Future Role

This is a leadership opportunity to strategically partner with Business Unit heads, Project Management & Business Development teams to ultimately deliver outstanding customer service experience.

 

In this role you will lead a diverse multi-functional team that drives all elements of quotation management, order management, invoicing and associated back-office functions with a strong customer focused mindset. By leveraging digital tools, the team leader will drive continuous improvement programs focused on timely delivery of customer quotations, reducing complexity in order management processes, improving transparency on customer order status, accurate and timely invoicing of customer orders

 

This position will collaborate closely with key functions in the business ranging from Purchasing, Service Delivery team, Business Developers, Siemens Affiliate customers and End Users as a focal point of contact for quotation and order inquiry.

 

Ideal location for this role is Alpharetta, GA metro area, though open to candidates based in Pittsburgh/New Kensington, PA area.

 

Responsibilities

Drive alignment on strategy, guideline and procedures related to quotation and order management activities Lead a diverse team of professionals managing & supporting business tools and processes for quote generation, order processing for wide range of service portfolios like spare parts, field service, digital contracts and service agreements Drive an innovative approach and initiate activities to benchmark and evaluate opportunities to improve business operational performance using digital technology. Cultivate a collaborative environment, foster professional growth, develop bench strength, drive process improvement and productivity measures Collaborate with Service Delivery teams, Business Developers, Portfolio Managers and Business leads to understand customer needs and offer innovative solutions Partner with Service Innovation Team in implementing new tools focused on driving efficiency Manage Customer escalations Monitor incoming orders and customer requests and ensure timely handling of all customer inquiries related to order status and invoicing Collaborate with business unit finance to develop accurate and timely financial forecasts Collaborate with Master Data Steward and Factory teams to ensure high degree of accuracy with ERP data

 

Your Profile

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Project Management or Customer Service 3-5 years in a customer service or order management role 3+ years of people management experience Strong SAP and Microsoft product experience Digital mindset and ability to learn new IT tools Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to lead a diverse team of professionals Ownership and customer focused mentality Excellent interpersonal and time management skills Desire to drive process improvements, tackle challenges

 

Preferred additional skills/attributes:

Proficiency in Salesforce Experience with IT tool implementations Inventory and Supply Chain management experience

 

The pay range for this position is $87,000 - $149,200. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
